Job Description
Under frequent supervision, performs a variety of clerical and receptionist duties on the patient care unit to assist the care team members in transcribing and communicating physicians' orders and to maintain the efficiency of the unit. Serves as a liaison between the patient and members of the patient care and support teams.

Reports to Manager of patient care unit to which assigned or designated Team Leader RN.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required. Previous experience in a hospital or health care facility with knowledge of medical terminology preferred; demonstrated computer and keyboarding skills; and completion of Baltimore Washington Medical Center Administrative Technician Extended Orientation.
