Lead Field Service Technician - Fire

Responsibilities Achieves successful on-site servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix administrative difficulties relating to delivery of service. Trains customers on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. Delivers and participates in training sessions for fellow technicians. Works with sales and local management to help deliver accurate quotes to customers. Assists in the management of service contracts for key accounts. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment. Performs repair work on demand. Provides internal and external customer support. Adheres to administrative processes. Ability to work non-standard hours. Ability to service clientele in the greater Chicago area. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE High School Diploma/ GED. 3+ years of field service experience with commercial fire alarm systems. 3+ years of experience reading & interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings and diagrams. Valid driver’s license.
