Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector II
This role will be responsible to ensure materials which leave the facility to the overseas extended factories are free from cosmetic defects and are well protected.
Responsibilities
- Support outgoing inspection to our extended factories.
- Perform pre-inspections of inventory materials, so we have a 'grab-and-go' inventory.
- Assist with inspection of incoming materials as needed, along with containment activities for nonconformances.
Skills and Qualifications
- Knowing how to read and interpret mechanical prints is necessary. Knowing how to read cable prints is also a plus.
- Previous experience inspecting machine parts / sheet metal parts including powder coat finishes is desired.
- Understanding common finish requirements is helpful.
- Basic proficiency using common measurement hand tools such as micrometers and gages.
