Billing Specialist

Role Description

As a Billing Specialist at Storable, you’ll play a key role in our Order to Cash Operations, ensuring that customer orders flow smoothly from quote creation through invoicing and payment collection. This is a highly cross-functional role working across multiple software platforms and partnering with teams such as Sales, Accounting, Client Care, and Implementation.

• Maintain accurate customer data across internal systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, and others).
• Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external inquiries.
• Audit and fulfill requests related to customer orders, accounts, and billing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies or process breakdowns.
• Contribute to process documentation (SOPs) and share feedback for continuous improvement.
• Participate in training, pilots, and testing of new tools or workflows.
• Manage workload independently and maintain SLAs for accuracy and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a client-facing billing, order management, or financial operations role.
• Strong understanding of order-to-cash workflows and customer lifecycle operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable interpreting financial data.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accountability for quality and timeliness.
• Proactive approach to learning, adapting to change, and improving processes.

Requirements
