About the Position

We are seeking an Anesthesiology to provide help with an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. Providers will primarily supervise CRNAs, perform regional anesthesia and pre-operative blocks for orthopedic and plastic surgery cases as needed. Candidates must be comfortable supervising up to four GI procedure rooms simultaneously due to the center's growing GI volume.

Overview:

  • Full-time coverage needed at two locations
  • Monday–Friday clinical shifts
  • Weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend call
  • Approximately 23 shifts per month
  • Case mix includes providing general anesthesia, cardiac anesthesia, pediatric cases, obstetric cases, and nerve blocks
  • 95% adults and 5% pediatrics

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology
  • Active Pennsylvania License (or IMLC eligible)
  • DEA Required
