About the Position

Anesthesiologist | Pennsylvania

Location: Pennsylvania

Schedule: Eight or ten hour day shifts. No call.

Openings: 4

Position Overview

• Hospital based anesthesia coverage in a medical direction model (site specific).
• Provide anesthesia care for general OR and site specific cases.

Clinical Details

• Supervision ratio: typically 1 physician to 3 or 4 CRNAs (site dependent).
• Providers may also work solo cases as scheduled (site specific).
• EMR: Epic.
• No OB cases (site specific).

Required Qualifications

• Anesthesiologist (MD or DO).
• Board certification or board eligibility as required by the site.
• Active state license in Pennsylvania.
• DEA required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required (AHA required as applicable).
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing

• Credentialing timeline is typically about 45 days (site dependent).
• Emergency or accelerated privileges may be available for urgent needs (clean file dependent).
