COTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 hourly (W-2), $38-$40 hourly (1099)

Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate daily with OT supervisor and follow established plan of care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in a SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, stroke, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis, cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.

Occupational Therapist Assistant Requirements:

• Current NYS OTA license and registration.
• EMR competence.
• State required medical documentations for work in a skilled nursing facility (physical, TB test, MMRV vaccine record or titers, Covid vaccine documentation).
• Valid proof of identity and work authorization.
• Malpractice/liability insurance.
