Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Starting Wage: $15 - $16 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 30–35 Hours| Morning & occasional Evening Availability | Typical Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM | 1-2 Saturdays per Month

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our Cedar Rapids team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in customer service, receptionist, front desk, administrative assistant, office assistant, or other professional office support roles who enjoys helping people and keeping a busy workplace organized.

As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience both in person and over the phone. You'll also provide administrative and clerical support to help our dealership operate efficiently.

If you have strong communication skills, enjoy working with customers, and have experience handling phones, administrative tasks, data entry, filing, or general office responsibilities, we would love to meet you.

What We're Looking For

• Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, office assistant, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor
• Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
• Experience answering and transferring calls using a multi-line phone system is a plus
• Strong administrative, clerical, organizational, and office support skills
• Comfortable with data entry, filing, document organization, and basic computer tasks
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, email, and general office software preferred
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy, fast-paced office environment
• Professional appearance, communication, and behavior
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage responsibilities independently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
• Team-oriented with a willingness to assist customers, coworkers, and departments as needed

What You'll Do

• Serve as the front desk receptionist and provide a friendly, professional first impression for customers and visitors
• Greet customers and help connect them with the appropriate department or team member
• Answer, screen, transfer, and route incoming calls using a multi-line telephone system
• Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
• Perform administrative and clerical duties, including filing, data entry, document organization, and general office support
• Assist dealership departments with day-to-day administrative needs
• Maintain accurate information and communicate messages to the appropriate team members
• Keep the reception and front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming
• Balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
• Work collaboratively with other team members to support daily dealership operations
