HVAC TechnicianMain Office - Denver, COOverviewSalary Range $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 Base+Commission/yearDescriptionGeneral Description Of The Job:The HVAC Technician performs tasks relating to HVAC repairs/installation of HVAC equipment for residential and/or commercial customers Brothers Plumbing Heating & Electric and is responsible for maintaining customer health, safety and satisfaction. Specific abilities and skills will vary between each technician and will be defined on the individual skills assessment worksheet.Job Activities:Ambassador and spokesperson for the companyCommunicate with the customer and answer their questions and concernsWork as a team with other team membersUnderstand and follow all company philosophies, policies and proceduresUnderstand and follow written and verbal instructions givenRepresent the company in a professional mannerComplete required and requested paperwork correctly for the department by due dates givenPerform related work as assignedAttend all required training classesSeek additional educational opportunities as neededPerform quality workmanship that meets current code requirements, manufacturer's and company installation standardsMeet company performance standards per performance reviewsFollow all company safety rules and requirementsOperate company vehicle in a safe & professional mannerProgress from location to location in an time efficient manner using knowledge of maps, streets and directionsDiagnose HVAC equipment and make necessary repairsInstall HVAC equipmentGeneral Qualifications and Requirements:Experience and Training, Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Minimum: CFC LicenseUnderstand, diagnose, service, repair and install HVAC equipment and IAQ productsBasic Understanding of electrical and controlsPrior experience in the area of job site customer serviceMinimum high school diploma or GED equivalentBasic math and reading comprehensionKnowledge and understanding of map book utilizationHave possession of required hand tools per Brothers Plumbing & Heating, Inc.'s Tool Requirement List (See List)On going technical training will be required from time to time out side of the office and after normal business hours.Be capable of driving the vehicles within the Brothers Plumbing & Heating, Inc. truck fleetOther:Required to sign a Confidentiality agreement with the companyValid Colorado Driver's LicenseHave and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with auto insurance requirementsSuccessfully complete all background checks, drug testing and employment screeningNeatly groomed per dress code policy
