Pay Rate $80,000–$95,000 base, plus annual bonus Overview Join a 100% employee-owned Chicago-area general contractor with nearly two centuries of history building schools, hospitals, housing, and stadiums. With three $70M+ public jobs and a new housing authority contract ramping up, we need a Project Accountant to work directly with our Treasurer and PM team using Sage Intacct! $80,000–$95,000 base + annual bonus, no ceiling on growth 100% ESOP — annual share grants up to 25% of salary, vested by year six! Medical (BCBS: HSA/HMO/PPO), 401(k) — both eligible at 30 days! STD/LTD, PTO & holidays Small, tight-knit team; ~$100M+ revenue and growing fast! Requirements 5+ years project accounting (commercial/public construction, not residential) Public works experience preferred (MWRD, CPS, CDB, CDOT, IDOT) Strong Excel; GC or sub background (GC preferred) Sage Intacct ERP highly preferred Background check and drug screening (including cannabis) required.
