This role is ideal for someone with a strong manufacturing background who can accurately analyze project costs, review technical drawings/specifications, and support quoting activities for customers and internal teams.Responsibilities:Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for manufacturing projects and customer ordersReview blueprints, drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications to determine labor, material, and production costsCollaborate with engineering, production, purchasing, and sales teams to gather required estimating informationAnalyze manufacturing methods, cycle times, tooling, and material requirementsMaintain pricing databases, vendor quotes, and estimating documentationAssist with cost reduction initiatives and process improvement effortsCommunicate directly with customers regarding quote clarifications and project requirementsEnsure estimates align with production capabilities, timelines, and profitability goalsQualifications:3+ years of estimating experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production workflowsExperience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentsProficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Experience:Metal fabrication, machining, industrial manufacturing, or custom manufacturing experienceExposure to costing, quoting, and BOM analysisExperience working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teamsQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
