Job Summary:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure the smooth and profitable functioning of the establishment. They are responsible for managing staff, maintaining high-quality service standards, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

• Hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and support staff.
• Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.
• Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Address staff concerns and conflicts, and provide coaching when necessary.

Customer Service:

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining excellent service standards.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Train staff in customer service etiquette and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and monitor food and beverage costs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
• Implement and maintain restaurant policies and procedures.

Financial Management:

• Monitor and manage the restaurant's budget, expenses, and revenue.

Marketing and Promotion:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
