Senior Fund Accountant - Mutual Fund

My client, a top Boutique Private Equity firm in the downtown Chicago area is looking for an Senior Fund Accountant that is specialised in Mutual Funds to join and lead their expanding team due to high growth. Our client works on a hybrid basis in the loop, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review NAVs and fund financials
- Coordinate with fund administrators and custodians
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory filings
- Support audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews
- Track capital activity and assist with investment valuations
- 3-6 years of mutual fund or registered fund accounting experience
- Strong understanding of NAV processes, GAAP, and SEC filings
- Experience with alternatives/private equity is a plus
- Proficient in Excel and fund accounting software
- CPA or progress toward certification preferred
