Role Definition Supports the Treasury department by formulating, proposing, and implementing interest rate risk and debt placement strategies to achieve the corporate business plan. Responsibilities Responsible of high complexity including conducting financing alternatives analysis, executing derivative trades and debt capital markets transactions, analyzing financial statements, and managing cash assets and bank accounts. Lead projects to conclusion by compiling information, analyzing data, recommending and implementing solutions, and providing information and analysis used to make and/or influence business decisions. Typically, projects and decisions will impact medium to high-risk issues. Expected to provide technical expertise and guidance to peers and recommendations to management on finance-related matters. Produce monthly/quarterly reports for management on a wide variety of topics including external debt, liquidity forecasts, interest rate and F/X valuations, and asset‑liability management. Evaluates components of a trade and how to execute them on the derivatives platform. Analyzes economic risks and effectiveness of various types of derivative instruments as hedges or replications. Trains others on the types of derivative instruments or strategies to manage various types of risks. Anticipates implications for the organization and potential business risks regarding derivatives. Designs and develops new or modified derivative instruments or products. Financial Markets Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments. States the standard operating procedures and processes of a specific financial product, such as an Initial Public Offering. Communicates related laws and regulations regarding a specific financial market, such as foreign exchange. Analyzes and summarizes current competitive landscape regarding financial markets. Generates risk reports on an assigned financial market by reviewing the operation data. Investment Banking Services Knowledge of the responsibilities, regulations, and business practices of investment banking; ability to operate mutual funds, securities and bonds, corporate debt underwriting, or mergers and acquisitions. Level Working Knowledge Assesss the service quality of the major units and sub-functions in an investment bank. Perform typical investment transactions. Implement relevant internal and external procedures according to the requirements from regulatory agencies. Follow procedures for day‑to‑day operational issues and business cycles. Works in an investment banking function. Additional Information This position requires incumbents to be onsite in the Nashville main office 5 days per week.
