Looking for a professional to work with the Product Line Manager to interface between MRP and company staff in regards to production orders, associated material status, and material transactions on the production floor.

Here's what you can expect in this role:

• As the Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining accuracy of data in MRP related to production orders and associated material.
• You will be the point of contact for all queries regarding production order status and material shortage status, as well as set and change production schedules to maximize output of established priorities.
• In addition, the Production Coordinator will track and report material status for purchased items and coordinate/communicate schedule changes with production leaders and customer service.
• This person will be instrumental in coordinating with Production Team Leaders to prioritize department work schedule and provide status information to various Production Planners affected by materials flow.

Here's what you'll need to bring to our team:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's degree or higher education is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a production environment
• Knowledge of capacity and finite scheduling
• A good understanding of MRP and inventory control
• Familiarity with BAAN/LN is a desired and plus for this position
• Must have good communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Positive work ethic and attitude
