If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for quality control and project management, we encourage you to apply.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and distribute daily print schedules, job tickets, and related materialsCreate Excel spreadsheets and maintain dataDatabase management of electronic filesEffectively communicate job status with management, project management, and production teamsArrange meetings as neededProvide internal customer support with the press and finishing machines' electronic computer system, and troubleshoot and collaborate with information technology department to determine and correct system errorsMain point of contact regarding the press and finishing machines' electronic computer systemCoordinate customer sample requirements with client services team, ensuring optimal qualityMaintain quality sample libraryEffectively observe and judge that quality levels are maintained and notify management if quality levels are not achievedPerform repetitive inspections to identify defects and variations from established standardsMonitor the progress of jobs throughout production, confer with manufacturing operations on the counts and final runs and ensure the final product meets customer requirements and company standardsAssist Safety Coordinator with management of safety efforts and policiesActive member of Safety Committee, assist in the planning, implementation, and administration of safety programs and initiativesObserve work areas for unsafe conditions and take appropriate action to correct issuesParticipate in onsite inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practicesActively contribute to building a strong health and safety culture across the whole of Mittera New YorkMaintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employeesAll other duties as assignedRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
