Identifies variances from expected outcomes and responds to changes in patient needs./liliThe Surgical Technologist 2 demonstrates knowledge and practice of basic patient care concepts./liliAnticipates the needs of the surgeon, which includes passing instruments, sutures, and other items appropriate to the procedure./liliServes as a resource in at least 2 specialty areas/procedures./liliMay perform additional duties as assigned./li/ulpMinimum Qualifications:/pulliEducation: High School diploma, GED or equivalent/liliExperience: 1 years of Surgical Technologist experience or equivalent/liliCertification: Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon start./liliLicense: Registered Surgical Technologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia required upon start/li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliLabor and Delivery experience preferred/li/ulpWe are Inova, Northern Virginias leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
