Senior Commercial Property Manager

Core Areas of Responsibility

Commercial Property Operations & Tenant Management

• Manage day-to-day operations across a portfolio of commercial properties
• Oversee tenant relations, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and timely issue resolution
• Coordinate vendors and service providers to maintain property standards
• Ensure lease compliance, including enforcement of terms and conditions
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure operational efficiency and asset quality

Financial & Budget Management

• Develop and manage annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans
• Perform variance analysis, expense tracking, and financial reporting
• Oversee CAM reconciliations and billing processes
• Drive NOI performance through cost control and revenue optimization strategies

Capital Projects & Asset Oversight

• Lead capital improvement projects, including tenant build-outs and renovations
• Manage vendor selection, contracts, and project timelines
• Oversee building systems, maintenance programs, and long-term asset planning
• Ensure properties are maintained to maximize value and operational performance

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 8+ years of commercial property management experience
• Proven experience working in a fast-paced, multi-property environment
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Courses or formal training in real estate strongly preferred
• Active Real Estate Salesperson License (or higher) preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
• Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple properties and projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and commercial property management systems (Yardi, MRI, etc.)

• Certified Property Manager (CPM – IREM)
• Real Property Administrator (RPA – BOMI)
• Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM/ICSC)
• Willingness to obtain professional certifications if not already held
