Our busy urgent care veterinary hospital is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate Customer Service Representative (CSR) to be the welcoming face of our practice. In this fast-paced environment, you will play a vital role in supporting pet owners during stressful situations while ensuring a smooth and positive experience from check-in to discharge. Our practice is open Mondays and Fridays from 4 pm-11 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 pm-11 pm.

$17 - $18 hourly

• Greet clients and their pets with warmth, empathy, and professionalism
• Answer phones and emails, and respond to client inquiries
• Obtain and update patient and client information accurately
• Explain hospital policies, services, and estimates as directed
• Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Coordinate communication between clients and the veterinary medical team
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, urgent care setting
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Provide exceptional customer service while handling emotional or sensitive situations with care

• Previous customer service experience required; veterinary or medical reception experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and compassionate under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Comfortable working with computers, phones, and practice management software
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in an urgent care environment
• Genuine love and respect for animals and their families
