Everyone here owns real work, moves fast, and has direct visibility into how the business operates. THE ROLE We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who can think before they execute. VwD is at an early and critical stage of go-to-market: we know our product is strong, we know our buyers, and we have proof points that work. What we don’t yet know is which marketing channels will drive the most value – and that’s exactly what this person will help us figure out. This is not a role where the strategy is handed to you. You’ll evaluate the options – content, influencer, paid, outbound, B2B review platforms, and more – build a point of view, defend it, and then own the execution. You’ll need to be as comfortable presenting a channel strategy to the founders as you are writing a LinkedIn post or setting up a Google Ads campaign. You’ll work directly with the co-founders and have a clear path to grow into a senior marketing title as the company scales. WHAT YOU’LL OWN Strategy and Channel Development Evaluate and prioritize VwD’s marketing channels – content, influencer, paid, outbound, B2B review platforms, and others – based on what will drive the most value at each stage of growth Build a quarterly marketing strategy, present it clearly, and defend your prioritization decisions with data and reasoning Identify and test influencer and creator marketing partnerships relevant to VwD’s audience – brand managers, agency leads, and compliance-focused marketing teams Research and manage VwD’s presence on enterprise software review platforms such as G2, Capterra, and similar channels Stay current on the creator economy, brand safety, and influencer marketing landscape to surface timely content and campaign opportunities Content and Thought Leadership Write and publish original articles for VwD Pulse (vwd.ai/pulse), covering creator economy trends, brand safety, influencer marketing, and regulatory compliance Draft LinkedIn posts, short‑form social content, and promotional copy aligned to a consistent editorial calendar Research industry topics, develop a clear point of view, and translate complex subjects into accessible, well‑written content Social Media Management Own VwD’s social media presence across LinkedIn and other active channels: scheduling, publishing, community engagement, and performance tracking Maintain a consistent publishing cadence and develop the brand voice across all channels Monitor social performance and deliver regular reporting on reach, engagement, and audience growth Paid Advertising Plan, set up, and manage paid campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant platforms Write ad copy, define targeting parameters, and manage budgets within approved limits Monitor performance daily, run A/B tests, and produce weekly summaries with clear optimization recommendations Optimize for KPIs including click‑through rate, cost per lead, and pipeline contribution Outbound and Campaign Support Support outbound marketing initiatives: research prospect lists, draft outreach copy, and assist with email campaign execution Track campaign performance and contribute to ongoing optimization Coordinate campaign logistics and maintain accurate records in marketing tools Reporting and Analytics Consolidate content, social, and paid performance data into weekly and monthly marketing reports Translate data into clear takeaways and recommended next steps Maintain dashboards and tracking to ensure consistent visibility across all channels WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Required 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role with demonstrated ownership of strategy, not just execution Strong writer: you can research a topic, form a clear point of view, and write without extensive editing Proven ability to build and present a marketing strategy – you can defend your channel priorities and prioritization logic Hands‑on experience with at least one paid advertising platform: Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, or similar Comfortable operating in ambiguity – you don’t need a fully defined playbook to get moving Data‑driven: you use performance data to make prioritization calls, not just to report on what happened Nice to Have Experience with influencer or creator marketing – either running campaigns or working adjacent to the space Familiarity with B2B software review platforms such as G2, Capterra, or Trustpilot Experience with social scheduling tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social Familiarity with Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar marketing and CRM platforms Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or early‑stage startup environment A portfolio of written work, campaigns, or a strategy deck you’ve built and presented WHY VWD We’ll give you real ownership from day one.
