Practice Info Work across Modesto, Manteca, and Stockton Medical Centers in California's Central Valley Practice in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) settings Diverse case mix, including general surgery, orthopedics, OB, urology, ENT, vascular, and outpatient procedures Team-based anesthesia care model with experienced clinical leadership Integrated EMR system (Epic) across all sites Kaiser Permanente Modesto Medical Center is a modern, full-service hospital with advanced surgical services Responsibilities Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across a variety of surgical procedures Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain informed consent Develop and execute anesthetic plans tailored to each patient Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitor patients intraoperatively and respond to clinical changes Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal outcomes Participate in maintaining efficient OR flow and high-quality patient care Compensation $325/hour (1099 independent contractor) Benefits Malpractice xmvmafu coverage (self-provided) Shift & Schedule Flexible scheduling – choose shifts that fit your lifestyle Opportunities for ongoing coverage or supplemental income Requirements MD or DO from an accredited institution Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Active, unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain) Ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor Active malpractice insurance coverage
