Mechanical Assembly Technician

Mechanical Assembler Insight Global is seeking two Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing precision manufacturing and engineering company in Fairfield, OH. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. This individual will assemble, test, troubleshoot, and inspect custom turbine support equipment and mechanical systems using engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to interpret technical documentation and use precision measuring tools. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electromechanical systems using engineering drawings, BOMs, and work instructions. Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, schematics, and specifications. Install and assemble bearings, shafts, tubing, hydraulic/pneumatic components, and related hardware. Perform pipe threading, tube flaring, and swaging. Complete precision fitting, alignment, and adjustment of assemblies. Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and precision measuring instruments. Verify parts and materials prior to assembly. Perform mechanical inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of completed assemblies. Identify and report nonconforming materials or assembly issues. Accurately document assembly and testing activities. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Assist with packaging and shipment preparation as needed.
