Plumbing Maintenance Technician

Plumbing Maintenance TechnicianInstall, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, faucets, condensate lines, gas piping, ice machines, and kitchen equipment. Perform rodding and clearing of sewers as needed. Evaluate, repair, and program hot water systems; maintain water coolers and condensate systems. Inspect, maintain, and program HVAC systems, including monitoring hot water circulation and condensate operations. Maintain and repair kitchen appliances, gas lines, and associated systems to ensure proper operation. Line and maintain athletic fields; winterize the stadium and related outdoor equipment; manage snow removal and ice control for safe facility use. Plan and perform preventative maintenance on plumbing, gas, kitchen, and field systems; winterize equipment and facilities to prevent damage. Track maintenance supplies, parts, and equipment; coordinate ordering and storage. Respond to urgent maintenance issues, including plumbing failures, HVAC problems, or field emergencies. Ensure compliance with safety codes, building regulations, and manufacturer guidelines for all equipment.High school diploma or equivalent; plumbing, HVAC, or facilities certification preferred. Proven experience in plumbing, HVAC, kitchen equipment, or facilities maintenance. Ability to evaluate, program, and repair water, gas, and condensate systems. Experience with winterizing equipment, snow removal, and field/stadium maintenance. Knowledge of safety standards and ability to work in confined or outdoor spaces. Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks. Basic computer skills for work orders, equipment programming, and inventory tracking.
