Maintenance TechnicianOur client, an Industrial leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations supporting a dynamic production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: McCook, ILPay Range: $32-$36What's the Job?Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for issues; using measuring and testing instruments.Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, utilizing hand and power tools.Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies.Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.What's Needed?Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Basic skills in grinding, cutting, brazing, wiring, pipe fitting, and small motor repair.Familiarity with hot work permitting and lockout/tagout procedures.Chemical manufacturing experience a plus.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.Contribute to the success of the production team.Enhance your skills and knowledge in mechanical maintenance.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
