Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper

A great UHY client is seeking an Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience utilizing QuickBooks. The Interim Part-Time Bookkeeper role is an onsite position. This is a contract position. Maintain accurate financial records within the accounting system. Record and reconcile daily cash, bank, and credit card transactions. Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations. Prepare financial information to support tax filings and year-end reporting. Assist with payroll tax and retirement plan administration. Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reports. Match invoices to supporting documentation and maintain vendor records. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues. Prepare and issue customer invoices. Manage accounts receivable, including collections, payment application, and billing discrepancy resolution. Process customer invoices through electronic billing portals. Provide backup support for payroll processing. Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation. Assist with financial reporting and special projects as needed. 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Strong experience with accounting software; QuickBooks preferred. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
