Senior Accountant

We are partnered with an exciting nonprofit organization. The position is five days a week in the office with some flexibility as need.Compensation range: 80-90k Responsibilities:Prepare and submit monthly grant reimbursement invoices in accordance with contract terms and reporting deadlinesRecord banking transactions weekly to maintain an accurate cash positionPrepare, review, and post journal entries with supporting documentationPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesMaintain prepaid and fixed asset records; ensure amortization and depreciation are recordedRecord grants, contributions, contract revenue, and other revenue transactionsMonitor accounts receivable balancesSupport monthly financial close and prepare schedules for management and external stakeholdersServe as backup to Accounts PayableMaintain and update SOPs for assigned responsibilitiesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong GAAP knowledgeAdvanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and maintain accuracy across multiple workstreamsIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.
