HR Generalist - ETC

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to own day-to-day HR operations in a hands-on capacity. This role replaces a traditional HR Manager position and is intentionally designed for someone who values execution as much as strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute core HR operations end to end
• Personally complete unemployment claims, employment verifications, and compliance documentation
• Administer benefits, benefits enrollment, coordinate with payroll
• Support employee relations, performance documentation, and leave administration
• Maintain compliance with EEOC, wage and hour laws, and internal policies
• Reinforce company policies work standards, responsiveness expectations, and professional conduct
• Lead and support full-cycle recruiting for internal roles and staffing placements as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required

Required Skills

• Excellent communication, written and verbal
• 5 years of HR experience, ideally in staffing or a fast-paced environment
• Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR operations
• Willingness to personally handle detailed administrative work
• Recruiting experience required
• High level of discretion, organization, and follow-through
• High level of experience with TWC Unemployment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting both corporate employees and contingent workforce populations
• Experience with WOTC's and E-Verify
• Familiarity with Kronos or similar HRIS
• Experience with TWC claims and unemployment processes
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required
• Bilingual in English & Spanish
