Bring your skills as a certified Music Therapist to a dynamic, full-time contract opportunity supporting students within a thriving and inclusive campus environment. In this on-site role for the 2026-2027 school year, you’ll make a tangible difference by providing both individual and group music therapy services designed to promote student success in alignment with IEP goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver innovative and evidence-based music therapy to elementary-aged students within a school setting
• Evaluate student progress, contribute to IEP assessments, and document service delivery
• Design adaptive equipment and strategies to foster achievement across a diverse caseload
• Partner with ARD Committees to inform placement, goal setting, and individualized programming
• Consult with educational staff, parents, and administrators to support student growth and understanding of music therapy benefits
• Lead staff development sessions, enhancing the school’s holistic educational approach
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment consistent with developmental, behavioral, and procedural expectations
• Maintain precise records and comply with all district, state, and federal policies
• Participate actively in ongoing professional development
• Uphold excellent communication and organizational standards with all stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

• National Certification in Music Therapy (required)
• Demonstrated experience serving students with autism and other developmental disabilities
• Sound understanding of evaluation protocols, IEP documentation, and specialized adaptive strategies
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and student engagement
• Ability to accommodate district fingerprinting requirements
