Occupational Therapist School Setting in Fulshear, TX

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active OT licensure in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists
• Experience with IEP development, progress monitoring, and student documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services directly to students as specified in their IEPs
• Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and recommend appropriate OT interventions
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate OT strategies across learning environments
• Develop, implement, and update therapy goals
• Maintain accurate records, evaluation reports, and service logs in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation as required
