Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity working as an Occupational Therapist supporting students across an entire district in the greater Houston area. This role will have you traveling on-site to a variety of campuses, providing invaluable support to a diverse caseload of 50-60 students ranging from elementary through high school. You'll have the chance to make a real difference, working directly with students, as well as providing consultative and indirect services to ensure their growth and success in the academic environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active, professional Occupational Therapy license (required)
• Previous experience delivering OT services in a school setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable serving 10+ campuses within an itinerant, districtwide model
• Confident in managing a caseload of 50-60 students with varying needs
• Familiar with direct, consult, and indirect service delivery within schools
• Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare billing for therapy services is a must
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, and other service providers
• Reliable transportation for travel between district campuses

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging, targeted occupational therapy services to students across multiple campuses
• Travel to assigned school sites to deliver therapy and consultations in person
• Complete assessments, develop IEP goals, and document progress consistently
• Collaborate with school teams, educators, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and submit billing for Medicaid/Medicare compliance
• Adapt therapy interventions to support students' academic participation and personal development
