Puzzle Solver (Coding)

Location: Global, Fully Remote
Job Type: Contractor (~15 hours per week)
Schedule: Flexible — choose your preferred hours and days, including weekends.

We are seeking highly skilled Coding Puzzle Solvers to contribute to an AI training project focused on algorithmic reasoning, debugging, technical problem-solving, and reproducible software solutions.

You'll solve challenging coding and technical problems designed to evaluate advanced AI systems. Tasks may involve unfamiliar codebases, terminal environments, precise constraints, implementation, testing, debugging, and producing reproducible solutions.

What You'll Work On

• Solve coding, logic, debugging, and technical reasoning challenges.
• Analyze complex requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
• Select appropriate algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving approaches.
• Work with terminal-based environments and unfamiliar codebases.
• Implement efficient and reliable solutions using appropriate programming languages.
• Identify edge cases, hidden assumptions, ambiguous requirements, and failure conditions.
• Debug issues involving code, tests, dependencies, and environment configuration.
• Develop tests and verification methods to validate solution correctness.
• Review AI-generated solutions and identify logic errors, incomplete reasoning, and constraint violations.
• Produce clear, reproducible solutions suitable for automated evaluation.
• Explain technical reasoning, implementation decisions, and trade-offs clearly.

Required Qualifications

• Strong algorithmic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C++, Python, Java, Rust, Go, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript .
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to reason about constraints, complexity, edge cases, and correctness.
• Experience debugging unfamiliar code or solving technically ambiguous problems.
• Comfortable working independently in terminal-based development environments.
• Ability to produce reproducible and testable software solutions.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills.
• A public or verifiable Codeforces profile demonstrating competitive programming experience is a plus.

Process

3. Complete the hiring manager review.

Compensation

Compensation is output-based , with payment provided per task that meets project specifications. Completion time may vary depending on experience and workflow. Minimum submission requirements apply.

Start Timeline & Availability

We typically fill roles within 48 hours and are seeking experts who can begin immediately. Selected candidates should start their first task within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.
