We are searching for an onsite, hands-on, Human Resources Generalist to support our Salt Lake City, Utah plant. Why This Role Matters: This isn’t a sit-behind-the-desk HR role. Your influence will help shape, recruitment, engagement, retention, safety culture, and leadership capability across entire operation. What You’ll Support: Frontline Recruitment: Increase employee retention, reducing turnover while also increasing employee satisfaction. Implement staffing and hiring plans and spearhead proactive plantwide workforce planning activities. Conduct on‑site job fairs and host external hiring events to ensure consistent, proactive frontline recruitment occurs. Engage with local community‑based organizations and initiate continuous outreach activities to increase candidate talent pools. Culture & Engagement Champion a positive, compliant, and high‑performance workplace culture. Help bridge communication between leadership and frontline employees. Organizational Development Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding. Help assess training needs. Provide support to plant leadership in support of employee growth and development. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure adherence to labor laws, HR best practices, and safety standards. Provide support and leadership to ensure a “see something, say something” plant culture exists. Support and reinforce plant safety and employee well‑being programs. What You’ll Bring: 3+ years of proven success as an HR Generalist in manufacturing or an industrial environment. Strong frontline recruitment outcomes. Stellar communication skills with the ability to challenge plant leadership with humility and manage without direct authority. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field is preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English ability is preferred.
