Client Service Representative (BLANK AST 2)

Veterinary Center Support Staff

Under general supervision, provide support for clients and staff in the Janice K Hobbs UC Davis Veterinary Center Southern California by serving as the first point of contact; provide medical records support, schedule appointments, collect payments for services; enter patient charges. Schedule appointment follow ups and performs daily appointment reminders.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position No Minimum Education required. Reception experience to answer phones, take accurate messages and assist clients. Experience with billing, cashiering and client services. Interpersonal communication and customer services skills to clearly and effectively interact with individuals of varying ages, cultural backgrounds, perspectives to secure and/or provide information to clarify situations, resolve problems, make referrals, and interact with the general public in a helpful and positive manner. Customer service focused, able to offer a good experience to clients that may be under stress due to patient condition.

Preferred Qualifications Experience using various programs and software for word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling, entry and retrieval of medical records, and database management programs. Experience working in a veterinary or medical environment. Knowledge of animal anatomy, and medical terminology to provide general information and make the appropriate referrals. This includes knowledge base for small animals and large animals. Knowledge of Procedures affecting services, clients, and confidentiality of records/client information. Knowledge of Ezyvet.
