Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Behavioral Health to join our team. The role requires strong de-escalation skills and effective communication abilities to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and effective nursing care to patients in a 33-bed psychiatric unit.
• Maintain patient safety and develop therapeutic relationships to aid recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress using electronic health records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Current ADN, BLS certification, and CPI, NVCI, or HWC certification required.
• Must be prepared to float between geriatric and adult behavioral health units.
