Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab for patients undergoing cardiac or electrophysiology procedures. Ensure optimal patient outcomes through skilled pre, intra, and post-procedure care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient assessments and monitor vital signs before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist physicians with invasive cardiac and electrophysiology procedures utilizing GE/MacLab equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses within Meditech system.
• Implement care plans aligned with hospital policies and patient needs, including emergency response protocols.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and post-care instructions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure staffing efficiency and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Labs or Interventional Radiology.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing cardiac patients and performing advanced procedural care.
• Maintain current certifications including BLS and ACLS.
• Possess strong skills in invasive procedures, patient monitoring, and emergency response.
• Ability to work Mon-Fri with on-call responsibilities, demonstrating flexibility and readiness.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems and GE/MacLab equipment preferred.
