Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer care to cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status closely before, during, and after procedures, documenting vital signs and observations.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during complex procedures, maintaining sterile fields and equipment.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on procedures, post-care instructions, and medication management.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and operate specialized equipment such as GE/MacLab systems.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Licensed Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of experience in cath lab or interventional radiology nursing.
  
  
• 
  Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac patient care, including pre and post-procedure assessments.
  
  
• 
  Strong understanding of Meditech documentation system.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work Monday through Friday with on-call availability.
