Sr Tech (HVAC)-1

Job Duties Performs repair and maintenance tasks for FEC facilities and related equipment, maintaining all heating and air conditioning to national, state or local codes. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment in FEC facilities. Ensure compliance with national, state, and local HVAC codes. Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs. Assist in equipment installation and commissioning. Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Valid EPA refrigerant certificate (Type 2, 3, 4 or Universal). Five (5) years of experience, including 24 months as a FedEx technician (HVAC) or similar commercial/industrial HVAC maintenance experience. Ability to access equipment by crawling, laying, standing, and climbing at all heights above and below ground. Good interpersonal and oral communication skills. Must be willing to work odd work weeks, overtime, holidays, and rotating shifts. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver heavy equipment with appropriate assistance. Non-covered safety sensitive position; must work in a constant state of alertness and safety. Preferred Qualifications Experience as a FedEx HVAC technician. Additional HVAC certifications beyond the required EPA certificate. Pay and Benefits Hourly pay range: $33.00 - $43.41 USD.
