Production Lead

Floor LeadThe Floor Lead (aka Sr. Lead) will have responsibility to ensure an acceptable finished product for our customer.Essential Job FunctionsThe following duties are normal for this position. Other duties may be assigned.Back up to Production SupervisorWork in conjunction with the Quality Department for positive production resultsInspection of the production lines as needed if the job is complex or critical in its design or useKnowledge of the rates of the jobs running on the production lineResponsible for work packets being filled out both correctly and accuratelyPerform all computer functions as they pertain to this jobResponsible for training production staffAssist Line Leads in training Line WorkersMaintain a safe work environmentEducation & ExperienceEducation Desired - High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum 1 year of related experience or training in warehouse productionKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAbility to lead / supervise large groups of associatesUnderstand quality standards, methods and reporting as requiredGood communicator, team player and multi-tasking skillsPlan in advance for production in your areaInterpret instructions both oral and writtenProduce at a high level through your staffWork with plant management for required resultsProcess information and merchandise through computer systemPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentPrimarily works in a production and/or warehouse settingWalking, standing, bending for duration of shiftFrequent lifting of 25 lbs or moreThe expected salary range for this position is $47,840 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short and Long term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
