Work Environment

You will be working onsite at our rehabilitation center, alongside two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Key Responsibilities

• Understand and assess the unique goals and needs of each patient, devising tailored treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain an effective patient load, conducting sessions with one patient per hour to ensure dedicated focus and care.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patient mobility and physical function.
• Employ various treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities to aid recovery.
• Minimize reliance on medications, emphasizing non-surgical alternatives for outpatient care.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all services provided and communications regarding patient care in our EMR system, primarily WebPT, maintaining thorough and accurate records.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process, promoting a healthier lifestyle through strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Engage collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population with private medical insurance, focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other mobility-related challenges. Our goal is to empower every patient, varying in age and physical abilities, to achieve their maximum movement potential.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, demonstrating a comprehensive background in physical therapy practices.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Danville, VA, without any disciplinary actions against the license.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and proficiency in creating effective exercise routines tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, ensuring accurate patient documentation and streamlined workflows.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience specifically in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop individualized wellness programs that cater to the diverse needs of patients.
• Strong communication skills to effectively motivate and inspire patients through their rehabilitation journey.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
