Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with PACU experience for a short-term, 8-week contract focusing on Epic system conversion. The ideal candidate will possess certification, proficiency in Cerner and Epic, and be able to start promptly.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), following established clinical protocols.
• Utilize Epic and Cerner electronic medical record systems accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient recovery and discharge.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly in electronic systems.
• Adhere to hospital safety standards, infection control procedures, and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active California RN license.
• Have a minimum of 6 months of recent Epic and Cerner experience within the last 12 months.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic and Cerner EMRs.
• Be able to start by August 24th, with orientation scheduled on August 3rd or 17th.
• Possess a minimum of 6 months' recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
