We are looking for a Receptionist/Customer Service Representative to support customers and internal sales partners from our location. This is a Contract position suited for someone who thrives in a busy environment, delivers excellent service across phone and in-person interactions, and stays organized while managing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth front-desk operations, accurate order handling, and responsive communication with customers, vendors, and team members.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, creating a welcoming experience while directing inquiries appropriately.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns with courtesy and urgency, working to resolve issues clearly and efficiently.
• Input customer orders and related requests with accuracy, and coordinate follow-up actions to keep transactions moving forward.
• Support order progress by working with internal teams such as production and shipping to help address timing or fulfillment concerns.
• Keep customers informed about order updates, service issues, or delays through proactive and timely communication.
• Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, documentation, scheduling, and other day-to-day coordination needs.
• Maintain visitor access procedures by tracking guest activity, managing sign-in records, and issuing badges when required.
• Organize calendars and arrange meetings to support smooth scheduling for the team.
• Build working knowledge of company products so you can provide helpful information and route specialized questions when needed.• At least 2 years of customer service experience in a sales-focused support environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities with the capacity to work independently.
• Basic data entry, typing, and number pad skills, along with comfort handling order information accurately.
• Solid basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across standard units of measure.
• Associate’s degree or comparable relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in food service or a related industry is preferred.
