We thrive on providing exceptional customer service, and we look for friendly professionals dedicated to helping customers achieve their financial goals.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesExecute and monitor daily payment operations across multiple channels (ACH, wires, cards, RTP, checks, etc.)Validate and process payment instructions in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirementsInvestigate and resolve payment exceptions, rejects, and returnsSupport the back – office payment operations on settlement and postingPerform daily general ledger (GL) balancing and ensure alignment between sub-ledgers, systems, and bank accountsInvestigate and resolve out-of-balance conditions and discrepanciesSupport deposit operations activities including postings, adjustments, and maintenanceProcess returns, adjustments, chargebacks, and correctionsEnsure end-of-day and intraday balancing across systemsMonitor settlement and clearing accountsSupport month-end close processes and GL certificationPerform daily reconciliations of payments and deposit systemsIdentify discrepancies and resolve exceptionsPrepare operational and financial reportsMaintain audit-ready documentationEnsure adherence to NACHA, Reg E, PCI, AML/KYC requirementsMonitor transactions for fraud and escalate concernsSupport audits and maintain strong internal controlsServe as a point of contact for payment and deposit inquiriesCollaborate with internal teams including Finance, Treasury, and RiskProvide timely updates on issue resolutionIdentify opportunities to streamline workflowsSupport automation initiativesMaintain SOPs and process documentationPerform other duties as assigned.Experience & EducationHigh school diploma and at least 3 years of experience in banking/financial and deposit services.Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred3–5 years of experience in payment or deposit operationsStrong understanding of GL processes and reconciliationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here may be encountered while performing the essential functions of this job.
