Loan Operations Specialist

Job TitleWe have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients at a Tier 1 Investment Bank.Job DescriptionYou will be working as part of a fast-paced Loan Servicing operations team, communicating with multiple teams internally and externally. We are looking for someone with commercial loans experience (bilateral and syndicated loans) and loan lifecycle knowledge.Key Responsibilities:Oversee operational processes across the full syndicated loan lifecycle, including origination, funding, servicing, and settlement.Review and interpret credit agreements to ensure accurate execution of loan operations in accordance with terms and conditions.Coordinate with syndicate members, borrowers, and internal stakeholders to manage loan events, including amendments, refinancings, paydowns, restructures, and transfers.Perform quality control and reconciliation of loan transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies in data, documentation, or payments.Track and monitor financial covenants, ensuring compliance and timely reporting, and escalate breaches or concerns as needed.Prepare and review reports on loan activity, portfolio status, and key operational metrics for internal and external stakeholders.Manage collateral requirements, including tracking, verification, and maintaining appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with loan terms and conditions.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalentCommercial loans product knowledgeUnderstanding of syndicated loans lifecycleFamiliarity with loan documentation (LMA/ LSTA, credit agreements, funding memos etc)2-5 years relevant financial experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skillsAdvanced Excel skillsAttention to detailPreferred Experience:Previous middle office/ operations experiencePrevious loan servicing experienceExpectations Regarding Hybrid Working:As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client's offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client's policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires.
