Shields Health Solutions is redefining patient care through specialty pharmacy. Were hiring a Pharmacy Technician - Outreach Eligibility Specialist to support the growth of the specialty pharmacy program by identifying eligible patients completing benefits investigations and maintaining strict confidentiality.

What Youll Do:

Conduct benefits investigations using approved tools and pharmacy systems.
Review medical records to confirm current medication needs.
Document all findings clearly and accurately.
Partner with team members to ensure high quality coordinated patient care.
Identify trends solve problems and contribute to process improvements.
Maintain professionalism confidentiality and ongoing job knowledge.
Perform other duties as needed.

What You Need:

State-registered (Louisiana) Pharmacy Technician ; CPhT preferred
1 years of experience as a pharmacy technician; High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication organization and tech skills
Empathy integrity and a team-first mindset

Solid computer skills are required including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook Teams Word Excel and PowerPoint) for communication documentation and data management as well as navigating the internet and web-based platforms. Data entry and computer skills will be evaluated through an assessment as part of the pre-employment process.
