Job Details:
Provide weekend call coverage from Friday 7:00 a.m. to Monday 7:00 a.m.
Manage 1-2 patient encounters per shift in a 9-bed pediatric department
Perform non-invasive ventilation management using neo-puff equipment
Conduct intubation procedures for both newborns and pediatric patients
Administer conscious sedation as needed
Place and manage central lines, arterial lines, UVC, and UAC
Perform lumbar punctures and chest tube insertions
Handle needle pneumothorax decompression procedures
Manage PA catheters and exchange transfusions
Provide minor surgical services including suturing lacerations and circumcisions
Conduct swallow studies
PALS certification required
Virginia medical license required
Board certification not required
Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
