About the Role

The Company is in search of an entrepreneurial Vice President of Wineries to spearhead the development and expansion of a diverse portfolio of boutique winery brands. This executive will be responsible for driving direct-to-consumer (DTC) growth through wine clubs, tasting rooms, e-commerce, and digital acquisition, as well as leading brand building, and wholesale growth. The role demands a leader with a strong background in DTC, particularly within the small and boutique winery sector, who can demonstrate a proven track record in building and scaling brands, creating consumer demand, and driving profitable growth. The VP will also be tasked with aligning operations and production with market demand, owning financial performance, and building the necessary infrastructure to support rapid growth, including the potential for future winery acquisitions. The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Wineries position at the company will have significant experience in boutique winery DTC leadership, a strong background in wine club, tasting room, e-commerce, and customer acquisition, and a proven ability to build and scale a business. They should possess strong P&L and financial capabilities, as well as experience in production forecasting and inventory management. An entrepreneurial, hands-on leadership style is essential, and experience with winery acquisitions and post-acquisition integration is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be a builder, not a maintainer, and will be expected to demonstrate the tangible results of their past endeavors in the industry.
