Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and treatment goals of clients seeking recovery from substance use disorders, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy tailored to individual client motivations and circumstances.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to meet the diverse needs of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcoholism, opioid dependency, and other addictive behaviors. You will support a diverse clientele that includes veterans, many of whom may be dealing with co-occurring mental health issues such as PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Your empathetic and collaborative approach will be crucial in fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship, which is fundamental to successful treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California is mandatory.

• Demonstrated understanding of substance use disorders and appropriate treatment modalities with a strong recovery-oriented focus.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy related specifically to addiction treatment environments.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers competitive compensation with an annual salary range of $115,000 to $130,000, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
