Controls Repair Technician

Company: CommTank Location: Wakefield, MA We are seeking a technically inclined Controls Repair Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic and control-system components used in fuel storage-tank monitoring and management systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology, solving problems, and repairing equipment. The Controls Repair Technician will be responsible for identifying system issues, performing repairs to control panels, sensors, communication devices, and related components, and ensuring equipment operates reliably and efficiently. Candidates should be comfortable working with low-voltage electrical systems and possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair control system components and related equipment. Test, calibrate, and verify proper operation of repaired devices. Assist with installation, maintenance, and upgrades of monitoring and control systems. Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation. Document repairs, findings, and recommendations accurately. Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues, repair status, and solutions. Collaborate with field technicians and support staff to resolve technical issues. Qualifications Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with an interest in repairing electronic equipment and technology. Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, or control systems preferred. Low‑voltage electrical experience is a plus. Ability to read diagrams and use diagnostic tools. Strong communication and customer service skills. Detail‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
