You will work on a diverse range of cases related to labor, construction, and litigation law, providing essential assistance to our attorneys. Key Responsibilities - Conduct legal research and analysis to assist attorneys in case preparation. - Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and correspondence. - Organize and manage case files, documents, and evidence. - Maintain and update legal databases and case management systems. - Assist with trial preparation, including document preparation and witness coordination. - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as necessary. - Schedule and manage appointments, court dates, and meetings for attorneys. - Perform administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. - Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations. Qualifications - Legal experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. - Must be tech-savvy and comfortable learning new legal software, databases, and case management systems quickly. - Experience preparing for trial in local and/or federal courts a plus. - Proficiency in legal research and writing. - Strong organizational and multitasking skills. - Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
