Summary of Essential Duties:
- Maintain an efficient par-level process for imaging medications, including conducting item counts, inputting data, transporting, and storing imaging medications. Ensures the safe handling and storage of imaging medications.
- Oversees the day-to-day product inventory operations for designated peri-operative areas.
- Collaborates with medical and nursing staff and all areas of Support Services including (but not limited to) Central Issues, Purchasing, Warehouse, Receiving, Billing, Processing, Clinical Engineering and information Systems.
- Responsible for inventory functions and product and/or accounting discrepancies as a result of those functions.
- Provides daily operational analysis through maintenance of automated information systems.
- Forecasts inventory utilization based on standard acceptable par levels. Recommends inventory consumption control measures.
- Responsible for determining usage, lead time, safety stock, MIN and MAX quantity for all inventory as assigned.
